Raising funds is a key part in keeping the Scout Group operating. Our subscription fees only cover the costs per member – Insurance, Building Utility Fees, Rent, Badges, and some material costs for activities. The additional expenses of new equipment needed, repairs and replacement costs, all come from our fundraising efforts.
Ways to support and help
- Attend one of our fundraising events.
- Use Amazon Smile to buy your online purchases and goods and the Group receives a donation per purchase from Amazon with NO extra cost to you – CLICK HERE >
- Make a donation to the Scout Group – any financial assistance large or small is greatly received in our efforts to continue Scouting for generations of children.
- Spare some of your time each year by helping out at the events – we have stalls that need to be managed during the events, food that needs preparing, gazebos and equipment to be laid out or if you fancy getting in the water then the Ducks always need help moving down the river!

Located in the Grundisburgh Pavilion car park our textile recycling bin provides a steady small income for the Scout Group. You can donate any of the following but they must be CLEAN and DRY please.
