How to Join the Adventure.......

At 1st Grundisburgh Scout Group we are able to provide Scouting

for either boys or girls aged 6 to 18 years old.

6 - 8 years     8 - 10½ years        10½ - 14 years      14 - 18 years

And We Needs More Adults In Scouting ......

At 1st Grundisburgh (along with thousands of other Scout Groups) we desperately need more adults to join as Uniformed or non-Uniformed members so that we can keep providing Scouting for younger generations. There is a National waiting list of 30,000 young people wanting to join Scouting but are unable due to the lack of adult helpers and Leaders.

History of 1st Grundisburgh

The 1st Grundisburgh Scout Group was originally formed in 1921 but actual records of this have been lost. Then in 1936 the Group was established again but due to the Second World War it had to be disbanded.  In 1956 the Group was reformed and since then for over 50 years has provided

Scouting to Grundisburgh and the surrounding villages.

In 1963 a building in the village was transported to the Grundisburgh Playing Field and since

then it has been the Headquarters for all our Scouting adventures up to the present date.
